Mt. Timponogos

Bryan and I thought it would be fun to go hike Mt. Timponogos and go through the caves. Its really not that long of a hike, but its up hill all the way and we are very out of shape. It was really fun though and a beautiful day to do it.

Hooray! We're so proud of Jeanette! She graduated with her MD and PhD. The ceremony was really nice and it was nice to have our whole family out in Colorado to see it. Now she's off for Ann Arbor Michigan to start her residency in Internal Medicine.

The Sport Court

Bryan and I are excited about our new sport court. We've spent a lot of time playing tennis and basketball. Bryan and I are pretty evenly matched in tennis, but he kicks by butt in basketball. I've made a few exceptions to the rules for me so I can make up for my lack of skill:

1. I can travel....within reason

2. I can double dribble

3. I can foul anyway I want

4. You can't stuff me!

The New House!!!

Well, we've been in our new house for almost a month now, and we love it! We're still getting it put together and our piano is still in the garage, but it's coming along quite well. We love our Farmington neighborhood and our neighbors seem really nice.

JulieAnn LOVES her kitchen!!! Especially her convection oven.

Dining Room (We actually eat at the table now that we can see the TV from the table and the kitchen)

Family room (we now have a formal living room and a family room, we don't actually have enough furniture to put in both rooms, but we love the fireplace and the niche for Bryan's heavy TV)

Master Bedroom ( the house has total of 4 bedrooms, but right now this is the only one we go in on a regular basis)

Master Bathroom ( we love our bathroom: two sinks which is JulieAnn's favorite, and the jetted tub)

For Christmas this year Bryan and I went with his family to DisneyLand. It was so nice to feel the California weather. I love how DisneyLand feels and smells. It was also fun to watch our nieces enjoy themselves and to spend quality time with family.

We've almost sold our house!!

So we've had a change of plans with the house we were going to build. There is another house in the same community that is already built and we made an offer and got a 'too good to pass up' deal on it. We're under contract with our current house so if all goes well we should be in our new house by the end of December. If you want to check out the floor plan for the new house, click on the link:

Hulkamania Halloween!

This year Bryan was Hulk Hogan for Halloween. He did the morning announcements at his school in the Hulk's voice and many of kids didn't know it was him.

JulieAnn ran in the Hess Cancer Foundation Legacy Tour this weekend. It was in celebration of the opening of the Legacy Parkway.

This was JulieAnn's first 5K. I still don't understand why anyone would want to pay to run. However, I am very proud of her efforts, she took 149th place!

At the Zoo for Justin's birthday

Justin wanted to go to the zoo for his birthday this year. We saw some of our favorite animals and I've included some of their pictures. We also saw a really neat bird show and after handing over a donation to the cockatoos (they took the money out of your hand and dropped it into the donation box) we got to take pictures with the eagles. You definitely don't want to make those guys mad =D.

Camping for Bryan's Birthday

This year for Bryan's birthday we went camping at Steineker Lake in Vernal. We all had a great time fishing (Bryan actually caught something), tubing, and just sitting around enjoying nature (especially all the cotton blowing around in our faces =D ). Bryan got a telescope for his birthday so we brought it out because it works the best when there isn't a lot of light pollution. Too bad it was way too cloudy to see anything. Here are a few of the pictures we took.

With the new telescope, Bryan and JulieAnn have been looking at Jupiter and it's 4 moons. Also, some of the constellations that are visible right now are the big and little dipper, Hercules, Scorpius and Cassiopeia.

A Visit with Carina's Family

It was nice catching up with the Sanchez' on the 4th of July. We had some good Dominican food and Bryan and Carina talked about old times in Reading Pennsylvania. Janiris has gotten so big, but she still is quite feisty.

Here are a few pictures from ReAnnon's (Bryan's cousin) wedding. It was very beautiful and they served some awesome food. Here are some of the pictures with our cute nieces.
